Hello,
welcome to my portfolio.

My name is Lea Saji.

Through my academic career in the BSPH program, I have been able to garner so much on the field of public health and learn more about socioeconomic factors that make it difficult for those from vulnerable populations to break free from the cycle of destitution. I have also been able to strengthen my team working skills and honed my ability to adapt during times of duress. Over the course of these years, I have been able to build solid connections with my peers, gain new insights to the world around me, and be a dedicated member of my community through various projects and volunteer opportunities. While this journey has been long, it has been wonderful and has taught me so much more and solidified my passion for this field.

For my cumulative experience, I interned with After 8 to Educate, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources to homeless youth and advocating for their needs at social events. During my time, I was able to learn about the impact of community and how it truly takes a village, understood the factors that cause these youth to stay trapped within this cycle of homelessness, and cultivated a stronger sense of empathy. To learn more about this organization and some things I learned during my time, please click on the buttons below!
